Bonchon partnered with AccessibleLab to assess and improve its website accessibility. The project involved detailed manual and automated audits to ensure compliance with WCAG standards and enhance the user experience for all visitors.

What we did
AccessibleLab performed a full accessibility audit of Bonchon, combining automated testing tools with expert manual review. Our evaluation revealed key issues, including improper heading hierarchy, low contrast ratios, missing focus states, and unlabelled interactive elements. We delivered a detailed report prioritizing fixes based on severity, impact, and ease of implementation. Additionally, our team worked closely with Bonchon’s developers to provide remediation guidance, answer technical questions, and ensure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.
The outcome
Following implementation of our recommendations, Bonchon achieved significant improvements in both automated and manual accessibility testing. The website became easier to navigate using assistive technologies, with enhanced contrast, clearer structure, and fully operable interactive components. This not only reduced the risk of non-compliance but also aligned the brand with inclusive digital practices. As a result, user satisfaction and trust have both increased across diverse audience groups.
