Wildfang collaborated with AccessibleLab to evaluate and enhance its website’s accessibility. Using both manual inspection and automated tools, the team identified usability issues and offered a roadmap toward full WCAG compliance.
The opportunity
As a brand with a progressive mission, Wildfang saw accessibility as more than just a legal requirement—it was an extension of their values. What we did
AccessibleLab conducted an in-depth accessibility audit using a combination of automated tools and expert manual testing. We uncovered a range of issues including insufficient color contrast, improper heading structure, missing focus indicators, and unlabeled buttons. Our team delivered a prioritized report and worked alongside Wildfang’s developers, providing technical support and actionable guidance to implement improvements that aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
The outcome
Post-remediation, Wildfang achieved a higher level of accessibility across key metrics. The website became significantly easier to navigate with screen readers and keyboards, and all major contrast and semantic structure issues were resolved. These improvements enhanced the user experience, ensured legal compliance, and reaffirmed Wildfang’s commitment to digital inclusivity.
